Cake Delivery in Lahore: Areas, Timings and Charges Explained

Getting a cake across Lahore intact is a logistics problem as much as a baking one. Traffic, heat and vague addresses all conspire against a tall decorated cake. This guide sets out which areas we reach, how the timing slots work, and what you can do at the ordering stage to make delivery go smoothly.

Where we deliver

Our bakery is at Firdous Market on MM Alam Road in Gulberg, which is close enough to the centre to keep most journeys short. We deliver across the city, including:

• DHA — Phases 1 through 11, CCA and Y-Block
• Gulberg I, II and III, and MM Alam Road
• Johar Town, Model Town and Faisal Town
• Bahria Town and Bahria Orchard
• Garden Town, Muslim Town and Iqbal Town

Same-day delivery and what qualifies

Order before noon and same-day delivery is usually possible — but only for designs that can be finished quickly. Standard buttercream cakes, photo cakes and simply decorated cakes all qualify. Fondant work and sculpted cakes do not, because the finish needs setting time that cannot be compressed.

If you are ordering at the last minute, message on WhatsApp before placing the order online. A quick conversation will establish what can genuinely reach you today, which is better than an order confirmation you cannot rely on.

Midnight birthday deliveries

Midnight is the single most requested slot for birthdays in Lahore. Deliveries run roughly between 11:30 PM and 12:30 AM across most of the city. Book at least a day ahead. The most common reason a midnight delivery fails is not traffic — it is that nobody answers the phone or the gate at that hour, so give a number that will definitely be picked up.

Delivery charges by area

Charges scale with distance from Gulberg. Central areas such as Model Town, Garden Town and Gulberg itself are cheapest. DHA, Johar Town, Cantt and Askari sit in the standard band. Bahria Town, Bahria Orchard and anything along Raiwind Road costs more and is best booked a day in advance. The exact figure appears at checkout once you enter the address.

Keeping a surprise a surprise

• Put your own number on the order, not the recipient's
• Tick or mention that the order is a surprise
• Give the full address: house, street, block, phase, plus a landmark
• Tell us if there is a guard or gate that needs a name to let the rider through
• Avoid scheduling delivery for a time the recipient is likely to be out

How cakes are packed for transport

Cakes travel flat in rigid boxes. Tiered and sculpted cakes go in tall boxes with internal supports, and large tiered cakes are carried unassembled and built at the venue — a four-tier cake will not survive a journey standing up. During summer, routes are planned to keep cream-based cakes out of prolonged heat.
